Shimano Ultegra SL Compact=Ultegra cranksets have long been a favorite of enthusiasts and racers alike. Ultegra has always been a solid and steady performer. It's reliable, but also a little heavier than the top of the line Dura Ace components. The Ultegra SL Compact Crankset is everything you like about Ultegra, but with a weight that is closer to Dura Ace and a new ice grey finish that looks great on a dark colored bike.

The Ultegra SL Compact Crankset is offered in a 50/34 chainring configuration and 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm or 175mm crank-arm lengths. Shimano’s Hollowtech II technology gives you stiff pedaling and 35 gram weight savings over standard Ultegra 6600.

Pair the Ultegra SL Compact Crankset with an Ultegra 12-25 cassette and most riders should be able to handle any type of terrain that comes their way. The bottom bracket that comes standard with this crankset is solid and smooth spinning. Shifts are crisp and accurate especially when paired with a Shimano Hyperglide chain. The crank arms are strong and stiff enough to not flex even when big riders put the hammer down in a sprint. If you’re look for a stylish, reliable performer that will last for years, look no further than the Ultegra SL Compact Crankset.
