SRAM Red Compact CranksetPut the hurt on your competition with the SRAM Red Compact Crankset with 50/34 chainrings. Red is the top of the line component group from SRAM and offers lower weight, increased stiffness, smoother, quieter shifting and a lower profile than the Force compact crankset. SRAM Red has been known for it’s crisp, fast and accurate shifting. You’ll notice it even more with the inclusion of SRAM’s ZeroLoss technology which makes the shifts even more instantaneous and intuitive.

This compact crankset is packed with the latest technology like the SRAM GXP bottom bracket and low friction ceramic cartridge bearings. The cranks arms and spider are full carbon and the ultra low profile will keep your foot from brushing the crank and will keep your pedal stroke tight to the bottom bracket. In addition to all this, the SRAM Red compact crankset is super good looking. The graphics are appealing without being “too much” like previous versions of SRAM Red. Climb hills with ease and crush your competition with the newly redesigned SRAM Red compact crankset.

One Review for “SRAM Red Compact Crankset”

  1. Jesse R. says:

Awesome crankset. Some of my friends have had trouble adjusting to SRAM components, but I’ve been impressed with Red. Haven’t rode Force or Rival yet. This crankset is stiff as hell, light enough for racing and makes climbing a breeze. Came with the GXP bb and ceramic bearings. Can’t say that I notice any difference with the ceramic bearings, but cool technology nonetheless. There seem to be quite a few deals out there on Red cranksets. I seem them on Craigslist quite often. Hardly ever see Dura Ace or Record cranksets on sale. The other nice thing about the SRAM Red compact crankset is that you don’t need a different front derailleur. Uses the same derailleur as with the standard crank. Nice if you ever want to swap it out.
